Holly Harper, CPA
Holly Harper is the Vice President of Finance and Administration at Cowley College, bringing over two decades of experience in accounting and more than 15 years in executive-level leadership. A proud alumna of Cowley College, Holly holds an Associate of Arts from Cowley, a BBA from Southeastern Oklahoma State University, and an MBA from Texas A&M University-Commerce. She is a Certified Public Accountant, licensed by the Kansas Board of Accountancy.
Since joining Cowley in 2018, Holly has held various leadership roles, including Director of Accounting and Interim Vice President, before assuming her current post. She leads the college鈥檚 financial strategy and operations, overseeing accounting, budget development and monitoring, and financial reporting. Holly also supervises several key operational departments, including the Business Office, Financial Aid, Procurement, Transportation, Maintenance, Custodial, Grounds, Bookstore, and the Wellness Center.
Before transitioning to higher education, Holly served as Chief Financial Officer at South Central Kansas Regional Medical Center, where she oversaw five departments and led the financial strategy, budgeting, and reporting for the organization. A highlight of her tenure there was successfully guiding the financial planning and community engagement efforts for the construction of a new hospital facility.
Holly is also active in professional networks and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Community College Business Officers (CCBO), where she contributes to national efforts to enhance financial leadership in higher education.
